Stroganoff WITH Pickles

I thought it was weird too...
but my husband talked me into it...
and it's awesome!
Besides, it'll make for a great meal tonight. 

1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 can mushrooms (pieces and stems)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2-1 pint sour cream
season to taste
(garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper)

Serve over rice
Dice or slice dill pickles and spread over the top.
